Extracurricular Activities

In addition to my varied professional developments, I have done a number of extracurricular activities and creative endeavors:

I have written a book of poetry titled PWI Blues, which details aspects of my experience going to a predominately white school/institution for secondary education. It centers itself on issues of identity and race, relationships with others, and trying not to lose oneself to isolation against the rising tides of increasingly clique-y groups of one’s peers.

In addition, I am a member of the Creative Writing Club at Columbus State University.
