Summary

Over the course of the past few months, I have discovered that my writing is a not only a personal reflection of myself, but a way to express myself professionally. I have been learning to effectively communicate in writing, allowing for my success in connecting with others.

Getting to this point has been a bit of a challenge.

A significant part of the journey was understanding how to communicate with different audiences that had different needs. For example, an audience on a short-form content-based social media will prefer snappy, quick communications and captions to accommodate their attention spans and attitudes toward content. An audience on a more word-heavy platform may prefer and even encourage long, drawn-out explanations like this one.

Communicating, especially digitally, requires discretion and careful planning. Knowing what you wish to say is just as important as whom you are saying it to. Regardless of length, communication should be concise and as accurate as possible.
